Fire Station Field Trip

Kayley and Hailey
Allie

The fire fighters were so sweet. Kayley wanted to go up in the fire truck with all of the other kids so they lifted her up. They were so great to her.

Kayley spraying the fire hose.

I took my preschool class on a tour of the fire station. Grammie went along to help out. She also came over every day that I had class to help Kayley with her studies and to the restroom. I don't know what I would have done with out her! November 19, 2008

Kayley Hospital

Kayley's first wheelchair ride. She had to take all of her new friends with her.

On our first ride we went to the playroom and made a fun picture frame.

Wow! Have you ever seen so many balloons? She was so spoiled by her family and friends.

Yeah it was finally time to go home. We were discharged at 11:30 at night on the third day. We had a hard time getting our wheelchair to take home. She was very tired but wanted to go home to see her sisters. What a keeper.

Kayley's Surgery

Kayley had her surgery on November 6, 2008. She was such a trooper. Grammie and Grandpa met us up there. They were there every step of the way. She got a little nervous as it got closer. They gave her some medicine that made her a little loopy. Mark loved that and was having her catching fish and a frog on the floor by the time they came to get her. We were so incredibly blessed. When they came out to talk to us they were able repair the hip with out going inside. This meant they she only had the cast up to her upper thigh and she only had to have it on 4-6 weeks. They also took one inch of bone from her leg and used it in the hip. When she woke up she was in soooo much pain and the pain lasted for several days.

Kensley's Field Trip

I was able to go with Kensley to the farm on a field trip. She loves it when I take pictures of her. Every time I took a break she was saying "mom take my picture over here". She is so darn cute how can I resist. So I had a hard time choosing which ones to post (I did take over 30). I am so blessed to have people in my life to help me so I can go and do things like this with my girls!

Picnic

Kayley is about to have surgery and we wanted to have a fun outdoor picnic before she does. Isn't our family sweet to think of her. We had fun playing ball. We went to a park by Brooke's new house. All of the cousins had a blast together!

Life Long Friends

Last night we went to Josalyn's 30th Birthday party. The kids played at the park and Mark and I caught up with all my friends.

Halloween Night

Halloween night Grammie and Grandpa came over. We all went to our ward trunk or treat. Then we went to our neighbors to trick or treat. So much FUN!

This week the girls had spirit week. One of the days they had 80's day. They looked so cute I had to take pictures of them. Kensley had to take like 6 pictures before we finally had her eyes open. They are so much fun!

Kayley's Baptism

This summer Kayley was baptised. I was looking back at old pictures and decided I need ed to put this one in. Kayley is so beautiful and was so happy on this day. We are so proud of her and the choices she has made.

Sherri's Halloween Party

On October 25, 2008 I went to Sherri's Halloween party. Mark went hunting with Brent. It was a blast. The girls played up stairs with all of the kids. We played fun games, ate yummy food, and laughed a lot. Sherri did an awesome job as always. Her house was super scary and decked out. The girls and I finally went to sleep at 3 a.m.

Our Dad the Stylist

So Sunday Mornings can be very difficult for a mom with 3 girls. Well not when dad is so willing to help out. While I was braiding the girls hair and curling their bangs Kaytlyn was giving Mark a lesson on how to straighten their hair. He did such a great job and the girls got a big kick out of it.

Cabin in October

We went to the cabin for a little R and R. We went with my sister Sherri's family, my niece Janie's family and of course Grammie and Grandpa were already there. It was a lot of fun. I spent most of Saturday shopping with Mom, Sherri, Janie, Kaytlyn, Samantha, Marrannda, and Kayley. Mark was a little sad because it was after all our 11th anniversary. He did however finish his book Breaking Dawn. In the evening we did get a chance to go out on the happening town of Show Low to get the supplies to winterise the cabin. Over all we played games, ate great food, read, and relaxed.

So I am finally doing it...

Well Jaime I finally did it. I am starting this blog to help me keep track of all of the little things. One day I hope to have this all in my girls scrapbooks, but let's face it I have next to no time. So I am finally breaking down and trying this out. I love my girls and I am sad that they are getting so old. Maybe this is a way I can remember the little things a little better! Thanks Jaime for that not so little shove in the right direction :)
