Stake Achievement Day

Karlene, Kaytlyn, and Madison
Kayley and Kensley

Stake Achievement Day February 2009
The girls all had a stake achievement day at the stake center. Kaytlyn wanted to bring her friend Karlene. Kensley was able to come because I had to be there (lucky girl). They learned all sorts of things and took 6 different classes from decorating cookies to sewing. They were super excited and it was fun to watch them I think I enjoyed it as much as they did!

Grammie's Valentines Party

Grammie and Grandpa invited us to go to their ward Valentines Day Party. It was fun. They had tons of yummy desserts and crafts for the kids. They had a cute program that entertained us. We had a great Valentines Day!

Valentines Day 2009

2009 Valentines Day!

I started the tradition of the balloons last year. When I am paying for them at the party store I question why I do it BUT when I get to go into the classroom and deliver them I don't wonder why at all. They feel so special and happy when I bring them in. I get teary eyed when I give them and when I drive away from the school. Boy is it worth every penny!

TIME to Take the Training Wheels OFF

February 2009
Kensley had been bugging her dad to please take off the training wheels and one day Mark came outside with his roller blades on to teach her. She was so excited. It is so nice that Mark is so great on roller blades. He made her feel completely comfortable since he could hold onto her bike with no problem. Now she zooms up and down the street with no problem! Go Kensley!

Guitar Hero

After school the girls were begging me to play. Once they turned it on I couldn't resist a picture. They were just so gosh darn cute!

Once Upon a Memory

I am not quite sure when this all happened but my mom started a game called once upon a memory with the girls. They have been playing it for quite some time. They hide under a blanket and tell stories about when they were little. It is so fun for them to hear all about my mom's baseball days when she was younger. What a super grandma!

Kayley was helping me (of course) set the table.
After dinner Grammie read the girls a story.

100th Day of School

For the 100th day of school the girls got to wear anything they wanted to school. They did lots of fun things in school. Kaytlyn's class was to wear 100 of something and she pick the pom poms. I really liked her idea of doing KJ on the back of her shirt. Very creative kid she is.

January 2009
We had over Ethan, Allie, and Kaleb for a sleep over. The kids had fun and like any other sleep over in time they stayed up most of the night. I will miss these times when they are older!

Haggard Family Reunion

All the kids waiting for their turn to sing.
Susan's grand kids singing primary songs

Susan Darrel and David entertaining all of the grand kids. I never knew how talented they all were. I am not musically inclined but the three of them could play any song without the music. It was a lot of fun seeing them play together!

My family with Susan and Nanny

The Big 30

Mark let them into my truck too.
So on the morning of my 30th Birthday Kaytlyn opened her blinds and started yelling mom you have to look outside. My friends had come in the middle of the night to decorate my house and truck. You know that I am getting old when I tear up about it. They thought I would be mad but I was really touched that they love me enough to drive out to my house to tee pee me :) . They wrote all over the windows and driveway. I had been dreading turning 30 because I had been living it up all year say well at least I am still in my 20's to Mark and Ami so I thought it was Ami who had done this. It turned out to be Jayme, Mindy, and Josalyn. How sweet are they! I could not have been more surprised!

Kaytlyn's 9th Birthday!

When I was growing up my mom would always bring me balloons to school for my Birthday. I would get as many as I was old. So at school Kaytlyn got her 9 balloons!

Well she finally got her DS. She has gotten so old! We are so proud of her and the choices she makes. Happy Birthday my sweet 9 year old!
She wanted a brownie cake :)
